Consultants

Jim Gross, Structural Engineer

We have worked with Jim for 14 years. His understanding of residential construction materials and methods, his creativity in problem-solving, and his openness to working with some of the newer structural systems such as SIPS framing and ICF concrete make him an invaluable asset.

Sarah Purdy, SPI Design

Sarah specializes in integrating green materials into interior design. Hers is the only firm we know of that has developed a library and an expertise in green residential interior design. We particularly enjoy working with Sarah because she values collaboration and finds creative ways to express the major design themes of a project in its interior furnishings and finishes. Our clients value her because she listens and she keeps their needs and budget front and center. She is also a very good designer.

Kurmit Rockwell, Mechanical Engineer

Kurmit has a background in energy modeling and performance contracting in the commercial sector. He is one of the few mechanical engineers who applies these skills to residential construction.

Dan Foley, FMI Foley Mechanical, Inc.

Dan is highly respected among his peers for his knowledge and leadership, particularly in the area of radiant heating and cooling. We value his flexibility and creativity in considering a variety of approaches to each project, and his commitment to making a house comfortable. He has been involved in our projects both as the mechanical contractor and as a mechanical design consultant.
