Marieli Silva
Marieli is an incoming 3rd year undergraduate B.Arch architecture student at Virginia Tech. Her passion for architecture stems from the lack of infrastrucutre that can be seen in many countries around the world but specifically of where some of her family lives in La Paz, Bolivia. She hopes to work in these communities to create a more energy efficient modern home not only for her family, but people all around the world. Working with Peabody | Fine Architects has been the first step to work towards her goal of making a difference in the design world and pushing the boundaries of sustainability.
In addition to her passion for design she actively travels as much as she can to immerse herself in various cultures and languages. She also has enjoyed art from a young age and does oil paintings in her free time, as well as being an avid concert enthusiast with a broad spectrum of genres and artists she enjoys listening to.
